Forum: movies Subject: New autoplay of movies, bad link to play/download help

Today I noticed that when opening a moving image page, the movie automatically starts to play. I'm not sure that this is better than the old method (the user had to click something to start playback or download). I liked the old method because: 1. the item description could be viewed without scrolling; 2. the user could read about the item before deciding whether or not to view it; 3. the user could pick the desired download or play method (such as opening vlc media player) without having to stop a different default playback method.

Additionally, I noticed that the Play / Download (help) link, does not point directly to the FAQ entry about how to play or download. It just points to the top of the entire FAQ. The old "stream help" link, pointed to a section describing how to stream using vlc media player. This information is useful for people wanting to stream full screen, which the free quicktime does not seem to do. I suggest that the the play / download help link be updated to also point to such information.
